Bingo Number Caller

This free tool is the “caller” for a bingo game. It picks numbers at random, shows each one in huge type for the whole room, and keeps a board of every number called so you can check a winner. Press Next number to call, or let the timer call for you. Turn on the voice to hear each number spoken aloud.

New to bingo? How it works in 3 steps

  1. Print one card per player with our free bingo card generator. Make the game type match (75-ball or 90-ball).
  2. Show this page on a screen everyone can see. Press Next number (or turn on Auto-call) and read the number aloud.
  3. Players mark the number if it is on their card, until someone completes a line and shouts “Bingo!” Check their numbers against the board of called numbers below.

75-ball (US style): a player wins with 5 marked squares in a row: across, down, or corner to corner. The FREE square in the middle counts as already marked. For a longer game, play for a full card (every square marked, also called “blackout” or “coverall”).

90-ball (housie style): there are three wins in each game: one line (all 5 numbers in any row), then two lines, then a full house (all 15 numbers). Keep calling after each win.

    Auto-call & voice

Slower is kinder. Try 12 to 20 seconds with a group that needs time to find each number.

    Keyboard shortcuts

Space presses whichever button is currently focused, so click on a blank part of the page first if you want Space to mean “next”.

How to use the bingo number caller

    1. Choose 75-ball or 90-ball. The 75-ball game announces a letter with every number (B-12, N-38, O-71). The 90-ball game just calls the number.
    2. Press Next number (or tap the space bar). A random number that has not yet been called appears in huge type.
    3. Watch the board. Every number called is filled in black below, so you can confirm a winner without writing anything down.
    4. Made a mistake? Press Undo and the last number goes back into the pool.
    5. Start a new game with the New game button. The tool asks first, so you cannot wipe out a game by accident.

    Using the voice and auto-call

Switch on Voice and your device will read each call aloud, for example “B, 12. B, 1, 2.” The number is spoken twice, the second time digit by digit, which many callers find helps people who mishear. Different phones and computers offer different voices; choose the clearest from the list. Voices are built into your browser, so quality varies, and a few browsers do not offer speech at all.

Auto-call uses the slider to set the number of seconds between calls, from 3 to 30. The countdown restarts whenever you press Next or Undo, and auto-call stops by itself when every number has been called. Start slow. A pace that feels sluggish to you is often just right for players who need to scan a card carefully.

    Frequently asked questions

Does every number come up only once?

Yes. Numbers are drawn at random from those not yet called, so there are never repeats. After 75 calls (or 90 in a housie game) the board is full and the tool stops.

What if I accidentally refresh the page?

Your game is saved in your own browser, so the called numbers come back when you reload. Clearing your browser data or using a private window will erase it.

Why can I not hear the voice?

Check that the device volume is up and not muted, then press Test voice. Some browsers need a tap on the page before they will speak. If no voices are listed, your browser may not support speech.

Can I use this without an internet connection?

Once the page has loaded it works without a connection, because the calling happens inside your browser. Keep the tab open during the game.

Which cards go with this caller?

Any standard 75-ball or 90-ball cards, including the ones from our bingo card generator.

    Does it cost anything?

No, it is free and we do not collect any personal information. See our privacy policy.
